Red pandas are small, reddish-brown, furry mammals found in the bamboo forests of the Himalayan mountains of Asia. Well-adapted to their environments, red pandas typically rely on bamboo as their main food source and use their thick fur for warmth in colder climates. Red pandas are also an endangered species, due to habitat loss, climate change, and human activity, which illustrates global challenges of maintaining biodiversity in their environments.
