The largest home in North Dakota is currently an 18,000-square-foot mansion. No, this house isn’t currently for sale. However, you can view its past listing on Zillow, where there are also tons of pictures of the house.

Here’s some basic information about this massive mansion:

  • Location: 2043 Rose Creek Boulevard South, Fargo, ND
  • Size: 18,000 square feet
  • Bedrooms: 6
  • Bathrooms: 10

The house features tons of amenities, as you might expect. There is an indoor pool, movie theatre, steam room, and large formal dining room. It’s held the title of the largest home in North Dakota since it was built in 2000. It’s located in the upscale Rose Creek neighborhood and is estimated to be worth nearly two million dollars.

This house is also one of the most expensive homes in North Dakota, which isn’t all that surprising. It wins in sheer size and cost.

There are several other large homes in North Dakota, though none are as big as the one we discussed above.

River Ranch is another massive home that’s also very expensive. It’s actually more expensive than the home above – at least when it was purchased last. It has far fewer bedrooms, though, at only two. Its biggest draw is that it sits on 1,879 acres of prime hunting land. It’s designed to be a hunting retreat.

Each bedroom is located on its own floor and is a master suite in its own right. The whole house has a huge floor plan that’s completely open. The covered patio is passive, and the kitchen can easily seat six on its huge island. The house even has a butler pantry.

The house located at 708 Jay St, Bottineau, ND 58318, is also a contender for the largest home in North Dakota at 7,925 square feet. It’s worth over a million dollars and is located on Lake Metigoshe. It’s a lake estate that’s set far away from other houses, though it’s only technically on 1.35 acres.

This property also includes a guest house, which increases the overall square footage. There is an additional 2,475 square feet of workshop space and a three-stall garage, too. If you add these to the overall square footage, this house is actually 10,500 square feet. However, whether or not the garage should technically be counted depends on who you ask.

This house even has a private elevator to take you to all three floors.
