Clever Crows: A Free Unit Plan for Kids!

Published 1 min read

Crows are highly adaptable, physically distinguishable birds that can be found in a variety of diverse habitats. Their memory driven, problem-solving skills allow them to forage for food and stay safe from dangerous predators. Crows are also remarkably cooperative animals, living in large groups called flocks where they work together to thrive in their environment.

In our five-day unit plan on crows, designed specifically for elementary-aged students, children will become aviary experts, investigating more about where crows live, what they eat, their unique physical characteristics, how they communicate with each other, and what their family structure consists of. Included in the unit plan are five days’ worth of comprehensive daily lesson plans, instructional materials, printable activity worksheets, graphic organizers, comprehension questions, writing prompts, vocabulary activities and more!
