All About Fish: A 5-Day Unit Plan for Kids

Fish are among the most unique and fascinating groups of animals that can be found swimming and inhabiting both freshwater and saltwater habitats alike. With tens of thousands of fish species and a majority of aquatic habitats yet to be observed, fish are also one of the most vast and mysterious animal classification groups on our planet, sparking conversations even in our youngest learners.

This fish known as the common chub aor simply chub.

In our five-day unit plan, tailored for elementary-aged students, teachers will guide students in investigating more about common characteristics shared by fish, various types of fish, saltwater versus freshwater habitats, the fish life cycle, and adaptations that fish have developed to aid in their survival.
