Spiders, a resilient and fascinating group of arachnids, can be found inhabiting virtually every environment in our ecosystem. From dense forests and arid deserts to the dark corners of buildings, spiders’ unique adaptability allows them to thrive in a wide range of habitats. With over 50,000 different species of spiders, these creatures are incredibly diverse in appearance, behavior and biological role.

In our five-day comprehensive unit study, students will discover more about the remarkable world of spiders, learning more about spider adaptations, their habitats, what they eat and why they belong to the arachnid group.
