Cute cat content is basically why the internet was invented (and it’s still one of our favorite parts of social media!). If you need a little boost of pure joy in your day, then you have to check out this viral kitten video. A little kitty sticks out its tiny tongue for the camera, and it melts our hearts into a puddle on the floor!
A Nursing Motion

“Cute baby💗” Instagram user @meow_delights posted. The video features a tiny newborn kitten who is so small that its head fits in the palm of its owner’s hand. The unbelievably small kitten is covered in soft white-and-gray fur as it sleeps on a blanket. As the human pets its tiny forehead, the sleepy kitty starts suckling in its sleep, sticking out its little tongue and bringing it back in as if it’s trying to nurse from its mother.
The kitty isn’t crying when it doesn’t get milk, though — likely because it’s already full. Despite its small size, the kitten’s belly looks round and full as it sleeps contentedly. We’ve already watched the video at least 10 times because it’s so precious.

When cats give birth, their kittens are often still in their amniotic sac. But don’t worry — these fierce felines instinctively eat the sac to free their young. After birth, kittens need to nurse from their mothers until they are about 8 weeks old, which is why that helpful suckling motion is especially important.
Cat Reproduction

When a female cat is in heat, she might give a high-pitched call to attract male cats or release pheromones in a process known as scent marking to signal that she is ready to mate. During the mating process, a female cat might mate with several tomcats to increase the chances that her eggs are fertilized. As a result, she could give birth to a litter of kittens with more than one father.
A cat’s gestation period lasts between 63 and 65 days. When it’s time to give birth, the cat will begin nesting to find a cozy place to deliver her kittens. She will give birth, then break the amniotic sac and clean her kittens. Afterward, she will keep them warm, nurse them, and continue to clean them.
Kittens grow up fast, so it’s almost a kitten owner’s civic duty to record as many cute moments as possible. We need more cat content on our feeds, because nothing fills us with more happiness than this!
