Orthopedic surgeons have applied low-frequency vibration devices (typically between 20 and 50 Hz) since the 1970s for stubborn bone fractures. Even NASA studied such frequencies to counter bone loss in astronauts. Yet cats, it appears, come equipped with this technology by nature.
