After her whippet, Bruno, sadly passed away, she created National Whippet Day as a way to honor him and cherish his memory. Since the humble beginnings of this holiday, it has exploded into an international phenomenon! Whippet lovers across the world have been united and many take to social media each year to share photos of their dogs with the hashtag #NationalWhippetDay.
