Cow Blocking Traffic in Asia
The short YouTube video clip takes us to Debingar in Butwal, which is in South Asia. A cow is blocking the flow of the town’s traffic! The Viral Hog YouTube channel reposted this video, and it has received more than two million views. They share a variety of viral footage of animals, entertainment, and inspirational videos.Â
Silent Call For Help
As the video starts out, we see that someone from one of the apartment buildings near the center of this town’s intersection is filming. There is a mother cow and her calf in the middle of the road. The calf seems to be incapacitated in some way and is sprawled out on the concrete.
The mother stands beside him. Seeming to protect him from any cars passing by that might do him harm. Also, take note of how the mother cow is going even a step further and allowing her shadow to keep him cool from the heat. Climate and Weather shares that the weather remains pretty stable at 86 degrees or higher in Asia. And with weather like this, it’s no wonder this calf needed the shade.
Suddenly, a kind passerby walks up to the cows, noticing that the calf is in trouble. He lifts the calf and walks him over to the side of the road. The mother cow stays close to ensure he doesn’t mean her calf harm. Once he sets the calf down safely, the mother cow moves her head up and down. It’s as if to say that he can leave now.
How Many Cows Live in Asia?

Asia is filled with millions of cows. Anywhere from 0.16 million in Taiwan all the way to 193.17 million found in India. As of 2022, the country with the most milking cows is India. The biggest threat to the cow population is animals like bears and wolves. But, of course, one of the largest threats to their existence is humans.Â
