While the average human lifespan is under 80 years, some animals live far longer, like Greenland sharks, bowhead whales, and certain turtles, which can reach over 150 years. The ocean quahog clam, for example, can live more than 500 years. In this video, we explore some of the world’s longest-lived turtles, including Jonathan, the oldest turtle on Earth.
