At around 5 acres large, Grandview Dog Park is a very open area in Aurora for your dog to enjoy being off-leash. This dog park is fully fenced off, with two different sections. One area is for larger dogs, while the other is dedicated to giving smaller breeds a safe place to play. Dirt makes up the majority of the surface of this dog park. In the rainy or snowy season, it is not uncommon for this dog park to get muddy. 

Grandview Dog Park has enough space for any dog to run around, and the large breed area has a variety of agility structures. Tunnels, ramps, and other obstacles are located around the park to test your dog’s physicality.

This dog park sits in the Copperleaf community of Aurora and is fully fenced-off with two areas for dogs to play. One section is for smaller dogs, while there is another area for larger ones. The dog park is fenced off with a wooden fence that is around 6 feet tall.

Copperleaf Bark Park is around 1.5 acres large, with grass and pebble surfacing. Free poop bags and water fountains are available at this dog park. This dog park is a fun visit if you are in the area and looking for a safe place to let your dog play. If you have a tiny breed, you may want to carefully watch your pup since, in some areas of the fence, there may be small gaps they may be able to fit through.

3. Cherry Creek Dog Park

In Aurora, Cherry Creek Dog Park is the largest of all dog parks. It gives dogs a large space of around 125 acres for them to explore off-leash. Only a small fee is required to enter, but you must also pay to use their parking. Although, you can park on the street as well. Cherry Creek Dog Park has a variety of areas to explore, with access to a creek if your dog likes to get wet. There are also various trails nearby, but your dog must be on a leash when not in the off-leash area. 

Being such a large area, it is best if you can reliably recall your dog and they are trained not to run too far away. In this dog park, there are prairie and wetland habitats and a variety of animals that live in these areas. You should keep a keen eye on your dog since there may be snakes and coyotes nearby. 

When visiting, you should bring poop bags to clean up after your dog. Bringing a water bottle in case your pup gets thirsty is also important. This dog park has plenty of space for any dog size. If you plan to visit regularly, you can purchase a $25 yearly pass online.
