Other Cutest Animals In The World

The quokka is a small herbivore about the size of a cat, that is not only considered one of the cutest animals but also one of the happiest animals in the world because of their smiles. This characteristic quokka “smile” is actually the shape of their mouths, which they open and stick their tongues out to keep cool, although this just enhances their cuteness. This marsupial also has a very friendly nature and while they may enjoy being petted, it is not advised to do so as they are still wild animals and should be left alone. It is believed that they have such a friendly disposition due to the high levels of oxytocin receptors in their brain which makes them social animals.

Honduran white bat (Ectophylla alba), also called the Caribbean white tent-making bat

These little balls of white fluff are the Honduran white bats that only reach sizes between 1.2 inches to almost 2 inches long, with a wing span of only 4 inches. Also known as the Caribbean white tent-making bat for their fondness for building “tents” out of leaves, this little bat is frugivorous and feeds on fruit, more specifically, preferring one specific variety of fig, the Ficus colubrinae. Not only do they have built-in UV protection in their white coats, but they also can appear invisible. As they nest in green trees when sunlight filters through their nests, the white fur appears green and if they remain still, they can go undetected.
