About Qinghai Sheng

Qinghai is a cold, high province on the northeastern Tibetan Plateau where wide alpine steppe meets wet oasis-like areas. Its wildlife is shaped by high elevation, open space, and water. Large mammals roam open grasslands, and many migratory waterbirds gather where meltwater, lakes, and marshes remain.
